THCa is the precursor to THC (delta-9 THC) in the cannabis plant. As the plant grows, it produces mostlyTHCA, which then converts to THC through a process called decarboxylation. This happens when cannabis is heated, such as when smoking or vaping. While THCA and THC have different properties in their natural states, they are fundamentally the same molecule.

THCa flower can be ground up with a cannabis grinder and enjoyed via a joint, bowl, bong, etc. It can also be made into edibles.
